C-145 plow refurbishment update

BALTIMORE, Md. — The attached photos show Boy Scout Matthew E. Nawn and his younger brother, Andrew, at work on Philadelphia snowsweeper C-145 at the Baltimore Streetcar Museum.

Matthew has adopted the 1923 Brill as his Eagle Scout project, raising funds for an exterior repainting and refinishing of the car, which is stored outside. It is an effort he expects will last into July, with two 6-to-8-hour work sessions twice each month at the museum.

So far, $400 has been raised. To assist in the work, you can contact Matthew directly at ptcc145@gmail.com. Monetary donations can be sent to FPT, but please use the email provided.
